THEFORGEBY REDLINE

Build a stronger operation by questioning what holds it together.

You don’t have to do it differently. But you should know why you’re doing it that way.

Built from questions we have carried ourselves

The Forge is the public home for useful ideas, practical farm tools and The Foundry program.

The Forge grew from years of building Redline Livestock—and from the many times we faced questions we did not have ready answers for.

Along the way, we built systems, created tools, worked through difficult decisions and learned lessons we wish we could have borrowed from someone else.

We believe resilient farms are built by operators who know their numbers, question assumptions, prepare for what can go wrong and change what no longer makes sense.

We are simply opening up what we have learned—and continuing to learn alongside the people who join us.

The cattle may be the visible part. The harder questions often sit underneath.

The Forge creates room to slow those questions down, examine what is underneath them and work toward a decision that fits your own operation.

One better-understood decision may uncover a hidden cost, challenge an expensive assumption or help prevent a costly mistake.

Becky and Travis at Redline Livestock

Built from work we are still doing.

We are Becky and Travis Page, and The Forge grew from the questions and decisions we have faced while building Redline Livestock.

We do not believe our way is the only way. We are simply sharing what has worked for us, what has not and what we are still learning along the way.

The Forge exists to open up honest conversations, ask better questions and help people look more closely at how the cattle, numbers, time and people all fit together.
